This Twistedidge is very near to my heart as it has a beautiful sound timbre playing in 'D'. With this Twisted one I find myself sculpting sound in style a lot just because it's precise and clear thus making it fun to explore its capabilities. Its Bore is sealed thus making the sound travel easier and makes it totally waterproof from the inside to protect it from the users saliva. An Explosive Didge Very Very Loud, Good Back pressure and nice Vocals. I am also impressed with the the loudness of its toot !

Twisted Didgeridoo No.3 in Ash, Iroko and a line of Beech wood. -GONE -
This Twisted Didgeridoo is a Unique piece of art / Instrument, it is a compact didge ideal for the traveller since it easily fits into a backpack. It is made out of 3 different types of wood: Ash (the clear wood), Iroko (the darker wood) and Beech (the line of light brownish wood which sort of cuts the didge in a cross section). This didge is all handmade and it takes over 30 hours of work to finish. With regards to playabilty it is a very sharp and very loud didge, amazing resonance which normally sounds above most other didges in a jam. Good back pressure which makes it fun and easy to play. Its toot is a very easy one to do and very loud as well, one has to play this didge to really appreciate its playability. The best Twisted one I made so far.
Specifications:
Key - E First toot - G Dimensions - 46cm x 28cm Back pressure - Good Ease of play - Easy Loudness - Very Very loud

AKA the OHM Didge. This is a very Loud and powerful Deep Bassy Didgeridoo made from Agave. The bell is about 12 cm wide and its overall length is about 160 cm. The Key is A.Finished in gloss, it is sealed from the inside with the necessary oils to make it waterproof. This is a didgeridoo which I will gladly keep for myself if it is not sold as everytime I play it, it gives me a great buzz. When we first played this didg the door in the room we were in kept on vibrating vigorously everytime it was played. A very powerful Didg, with great back pressure even though it is a long didge. One of the best I have made so far !

This is an amazing didge both from its looks and from its great quality sound. It has a very intricate dot paint art, which was also painted by Twistedidge and is finished in high gloss. Its narrow neck and very dense wood make this didge's sound crisp and easy to play with a very good back pressure. Plays in a C it has a length of 137cm, mouth piece diameter: 5.5cm and bottom end diameter: 8.5 by 6.5cm. This is an investment, this didge will give its new owner countless hours of beautiful crisp vibrations!

Blanks for Future Didgeridoos
These logs had to be cut since the government is cutting these trees anyway as they are damaging a historical site. So why not give them a new life as Didgeridoos with a Twist from Twistedidge Malta ? :-)
|
A naturally hollow trunk... inspiring !
...
| |
 |
Fallen Agave trunks waiting for a new life as a Didgeridoo
It is a good point to note that Agave trunks grow quickly, stem flowers once and then die/fall.It is at this point that Twistedidge harvests the trunks, after they dispers their seeds. In fact, blooming also signals the end of the plant’s life cycle which are easily propagated by the offsets from the base of the stem and thus keep the population going and growing. At this point, instead of letting the trunks get rotten and disintegrate, they are worked with dedication and transformed in the amazing instrument – the Didgeridoo / Didjeridu.

Mullberry Hardwood Didge No:18
Price: Euro 175.00
Mulberry wood is used for luxurious furniture in Japan. It is especially highly sought after for ceremony instruments and many other uses. Lots of traditional furniture is still made from it. Some furniture makers use mulberry veneer over their furniture to make them look traditional. It is possibly the next most sought after wood after (now protected) keyaki, Japanese elm. It is one of the hardest of woods one can find, it is unbelievably yellow when you are working it, but it turns a light to medium brown within a few months.
This didge has a very different shape with a very narrow neck which makes it easy to play with a good back pressure and responsive playing. Being a hard wood didgeridoo it has a crisp clear sound, easy toots and generally nice to play in fast rhythm.
Specifications:
Length: 140cm Bell end: 8 x 6cm Mouth piece: 4.5cm Key - E First Toot - G Ease of play: Easy to play Back pressure - Very High
