General Information on this wonderful instrument
The Didgeridoo is a unique and fascinating instrument credited to the Australian Aboriginal people from the North of Australia. It is traditionally made from Eucalyptus trunks hollowed by termites of from bamboo.
The Didgeridoo is played by loosely vibrating the lips on the mouthpiece with air expelled from the lungs and mouth cavity, employing the use of the diaphragm and cheeks respectively. At the same time short, sharp breathes are taken in through the nose. |

How to clean and sanitize your didgerido. The didgeridoo is awind instrument, and as such it must be kept clean: therefore, refusing strangers to playyour instrument is a most sacred right of yours. Cleaning the inside of hemp, PVC, plastic, fibreglass, carbon fibre et al. didgeridoos Keeping clean and sweet-smelling didgeridoos made of so-called 'alternative' materials isquite easy.They can be washed with running water and hand or body soap. It is always wise to read theinstructions written on the package of the product you choosed, but, for the sake ofconvenience and economy, I'd suggest to use products that don't produce too much foam and aren't too sophisticated. |
